Hi, my name is Kerry Macklin and welcome to my website. I have been owned by dogs most of my life but didn't have the pleasure of my first stafford until 1991. Roxy was a little 8 month old brindle bitch that friends had bought as an 8 week old puppy and couldn't cope with any more. I bought her into my life and as far as staffords are concerned have never looked back. Roxy and I entered the world of Obedience and because of her I even went on to be a Volunteer Obedience Instructor and gain a Companion Dog Title with one of my other staffords. She is still a very big part of our family only a little older and a little greyer.
In 1996 I decided I wanted to give showing a go. I bought my first stafford,a male that wasn't quite good enough for showing, I ended up with his sister 12 months later. Tiger and we have gone on from there.
Ten years later we are still enjoying our dogs, the showing, the weekends away, the good friends we have made and life in general being owned and loved by the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. So please feel free to wander through the Truhaven Website and enjoy my dogs as much as we do.
